Olot International Open 2008

Bases

1. The Open will be organized by Olot Chess Club. There will be only one group for all players.

2. The organization likes keeping the right not allowing more inscriptions due to space limit. The inscription must be paid before first round, otherwise you won't be allowed to start playing the Open.

3. The system will be Swis FIDE at 8 rounds.

4. The site is in the Casino Olotí (Passeig d'en Blay, 6), 1st floor.

5. All games will take place on July, 27th. First round starts at 10:30 in the morning.

6. All games will have 20 minutes per player, 40 minutes per game.

7. The play-off system will be indicated in the Open rules.

8. In case that draw keeps after play-off, the cash prizes can't be divided between the players, so inscription rank will prevail. Moreover, prizes can't be accumulated by any player.

9. The Main Referee of tourment will be Mr. Eduard Labian (A.N.), and Mr. Josep Mª Mir will act as Main Director.

10. Their decisions could be claimed to the Competition Comitee, that will be elected after first round.

11. Pairings of the rounds will be done by a computer program.

12. If any player doesn't came to the first round, deserves his elimination of the Open.

13. These regulations, paired with FIDE's ones will administrate the tourment.

14. Being registered for the tourment means that the player accepts all the present regulations.

15. The inscription fee will be 15 Euros per player, except local players and/or under 18, that will be 8 Euros. Players with FIDE titles free of charge.

16. Prizes will be delivered once last round is finished at 19.15 hours aprox. To receive the prize the player must be present in that act.
